First model under the brush

Greetings,

I've started painting the first model in the retinue.

I decided to start with Dwain Freud, the ex-guardsman.

If I can stay awake, Ive worked way too much this week, I plan to give him alot of attention.

Promise to upload pictures as soon as I have something worth looking at.

Inquisitor Mannheim and Retinue - Done :)

Greetings,

Just finished the last base in the retinue.
That means I have to start painting them - which intimidates me a bit ;)

Retinue - Inquisitor Hans Theobalthus Mannheim,  Ordo Malleus, Radial, Possible Xanthist

I have several other ideas I wish to explore, including a cult and a conservative Ordo Xenos Inquisitor + retinue.

Hope to start painting very soon - if I get the time, I work too much right now.

Chrono Gladiator based and ready

Greetings,

After a few very hectic days at the office, I finally got the time to finish the base for the Chrono Gladiator.

I went with the same ruined hab / industrious wast or ruins look.

I kind of developed a fetish for tubes and cables :)

All members of the retinue is now based and ready for paint,

Hope to get a group picture up soon.

Basing the Retinue - Part Five

So,

One more down,

This time it is the Magos,

Well,
Like......

- The fat country cousin who walks directly to the buffet when arriving at the party,

- The classical drunk Uncle, who does not even bother shaking hands with the host, before getting shit-faced in the bar

Magos Mikhail has clearly found a machine of some kind, perhaps a way to turn on the power grid in the slum-hive Inquisitor Mannheim and his retinue are currently investigating ?
Or perhaps a way to hotwire the transportation rail ? or a way to get through a sealed portal ?

Perhaps its just an oversized mechanical wet-stone for his claws :)

One more down,

This time it was the ex-guardsman Mr. Freud with his big assault-stubber:

Thought of spraying a bunch of spent shells all over the base, but I could really see that done.
